Subject: bogus, but the type that Sunrise was designed to correct

The Sunrise Challenge rules as currently written will take care of this:

If this is a bogus Sunrise registration of a TM word by someone without a TM, then it can be successfully challenged and obtained by the folks with the TM (ie. Ford Motor Company) under the current Sunrise rules.

If this is a Sunrise registration of a TM by someone who actually has a TM on Ford (I have not researched), then they get to keep it... they beat Ford Motor Company in the Sunrise Lottery.  That's the way the Sunrise was designed.  If different folks with TMs want to squabble about who gets priority, they can use UDRP or other means.

It is only Sunrise Registrations of non-TM words which are currently falling between the cracks of the rules and causing erosion of the Land Rush period.  I am still holding out hope that there will be action to correct this problem before Land Rush.
