The crooks have been caught out.

Quote: "It is not a well-known aspect of the new domain operators' contract, but they are entitled to register up to 10,000 domains for themselves before allowing anyone else access."

"This excessive generosity came to light after one member of Yahoo's domain policy newsgroup queried why Afilias was entitled to the "search.info" domain. A scan of Afilias' contract revealed the situation."

'Search' has very many trademarks - in the UK for example:

Single word 'SEARCH' only - does not include possibly hundreds or thousands of word combinations (e.g. searcher & search net).

TM Number Mark Text Type Date Status Classes
1056333 SEARCH WO 12.12.1975 Registered 03
1109576 SEARCH SW 15.02.1979 Registered 07
1291170 SEARCH SW 27.10.1986 Registered 37
1380291 SEARCH WO 10.04.1989 Registered 03
1380292 SEARCH WO 10.04.1989 Registered 05
1436692 SEARCH WO 01.08.1990 Registered 10
1436693 SEARCH WO 01.08.1990 Registered 21
1459763 SEARCH WO 28.03.1991 Registered 30

If this is supposed to be 'cybersquatting' - why do they allow them to break the LAW.

One LAW for them and another for us.

They are expert at spin, lies and propaganda - they know the solution.
