Gary, these are very interesting points. What is the source for these mini-landrush proposals? Have Afilias announced them? And if so, what is the time scale? Ref: "I do not want to push for my rights as a current Land Rush pre-registrant to the exclusion of new Land Rush pre-registrants." I agree with that point. I do think, though, that at least 50% of registrars will not use a search of names already claimed. So I think it's only half fair/unfair. A good number of registrars will take anything you throw at them, often many times over!
