not much, I'm sure there are many people who've spent in the thousands. It starts
with regland at $20 a pop, and as more and cheaper preregistration options become
available good money gets thrown after bad. "Didn't you know that almost every
word is trademarked somewhere in the world?" A reasonable number of valuable words
(maybe 15%) aren't trademarked in the us or europe and the majority of these won't
be trademarked anywhere else in the world either. Anyhow if it weren't for fraudsters
it's quite likely that half of the top generic words would still be available for
the land rush.
