If the person who said the sunrise period ended at 8
PM EST was correct, then it's over now (though nothing has yet been changed on the
official site to reflect this). I believe that it is indeed over, since all
timestamps in the WHOIS records are in UTC, which has just reached midnight. My
personal "score" is that I've attempted to pre-register five .info domains (a modest
number, but I'm not a speculator; I only picked names I have actual plans for), and
currently two are still in the running, with the other three taken by apparently
bogus sunrise registrations.
