Subject: .info is gTLD - NOT ccTLD

I do not think you realize it, but your distinction makes it clear that whoever owns .info will use it for propaganda.

You could not use [TyranicalCountry].info to complain about the murder of their citizens, because the government will be using to say what a nice place it is to have your holidays and spend all your money in.

Rather than .info it will be used for .misinfo !

They could use [TyranicalCountry].[ccTLD] for that.

Mind you - I suppose Firestone.info will be used to say what great tyres they have - I doubt it will be used to talk about all the deaths they have been blamed for.

Perhaps - if you believe in free speech - they should not be able to stop you using this domain either.

But the United States Department of Commerce do not believe in it - why should any honourable American citizen?

The U.S. media are surely not pro-American - else they would report on the violation of First Amendment.
