Sunrise is when TM holders have preference before anybody else.

If NEW.NET were taken seriously as new TLDs, then AMAZON.com  and SUN Microsystems who really seem to have interest in the REAL new TLDs would have been the first ones to register NEW.NET names.

Look at AMAZON.SHOP and AMAZON.MP3, they are not registered to AMAZON.COM.

Nobody really cares about the new.net names.  First of all, they are not global TLDs.  Even if AMAZON.COM did in fact registered AMAZON.SHOP, they would not be stupid enough to spend a dime in advertising because they know that the average consumer will get an error message when they type AMAZON.SHOP into their browser.

NEW.NET's bad faith challeng sounds similar to UDRP.

my 2 cents.
