There's plenty of time to implement the "ALL names in Landrush, reserve gets successfully challenged name if not claimed by genuine Trademark" scheme (aka Domebase)

Why is there plenty of time?

Because if Afilias are so useless that they can't set it up in time, all they have to do is postpone the Landrush by a week or two.

It's more important to DO WHAT'S RIGHT than to stick to some arbitrary timescale.

Secondly, genuine Trademark holders ARE NOT penalised by the Domebase scheme, because the Domebase principle says that Landrush "reserves" would only get the names if the genuine Trademark holders had not come forward to claim the names during the Challenge period.

So all-in-all, I find your comments working as stooge-like propaganda for Afilias - and offering no respect to the carefully argued proposals of a decent HONEST man like Robert Connor (Domebase).

His proposal works.
Yes there is time for it.
Yes it protects Trademark Holders.

DUR!!!

Rachel

PS Paul Gill's sycophantic remark "I'm sure Afilias knows what's best to do" is surely one of the great contributions put to this forum!!! Yeah, thanks Paul, that was a smart remark wasn't it!
