Undoubtedly, vauluable stuff.
But, how exactly is this going to help those who have invested hard earned money
and days if not months of hard work trusting a fair process. And, how
is that different from people trusting 'Due Process' and organising their lives around
it. You see, it is not a matter of just domain names. you don't mind
if you loose a game, fair and square. But, it hurts if people cheat to win
and those who are responsible to see that rules are followed act as spectators.
To say "forget about it and move on" will be a cheap closure. Afilias and ICANN have
moral, if not legal responsibility towards pre-registrants. Least they can
do is to specify how the interests of pre-registrants will be taken care of in a
new arrangement.Amar
