Jim
OSRS will be sending a 'check registration' command to
Afilias prior to sending our Landrush submissions. As a
result, all names entered into Landrush that were already
registered in Sunrise will not be submitted (again, so we
maximize our chances of successful pre-registrations)

As I stated in my post on Wednesday, August 29 - the majority
of information can be found at:
http://arbiter.wipo.int/domains/gtld/info/sunrise/guide.html

*** THIS WEBSITE HAS A LINK TO SUNRISE CASES AND DECISIONS BUT IS EMPTY AT PRESENT ***

However, the following is the official statement by Afilias
on this matter:

"It is possible that certain sunrise registrations may remain
unchallenged even though they appear to be in manifest
non-compliance with the sunrise registration conditions. In
order to remedy this problem, Afilias has announced its
intention to challenge such registrations through WIPO if
they have not been challenged by others before the end of the
Sunrise Challenge Period. This concerns, in particular,
registrations where the alleged trademark registration does
not exactly match the domain name registered, has a date
after the 2 October 2000 cut-off, or a trademark number in an
obviously wrong format. The domain names that are cancelled
due to these Challenges will be returned to the pool of
available domain names at a later time. "
