window for constructive action is closing as we speak |

As I hope my posts here and study results will atest,
I have worked toward a constructive solution that would address the problem of sunrise
squatters and redeem the pending disenfranchisement of many Land Rush pre-registrants.
I believe that I had found (with the help of other folks credited on DomeBase.com)
a solution that would have benefited everyone except sunrise squatters. I have tried
to be balanced and polite. I have found some people of good intent in Afilias,
major registrars, the IPC, and elsewhere. However, here we are... with the
window for constructive action closing on our fingers with no word from Afilias or
ICANN on how the Land Rush situation will be addressed. Without some shred
of hope today, I can no longer cling to the hope of internally-motivated constructive
action. To those in Afilias, major registrars, and other parties who are of
good intent... I regret that it has come to this. It is so sad and was so avoidable.
