Afilias will run the Land Rush starting next week and it will be the responsibilty of individual registrars to hold back names that are taken during Sunrise otherwise there queues will be unnecessarily longer than need be thus reducing their odds of winning names. If Afilias does not provide the list of Sunrise registered names to the registrars, then Afilias will have to take responsibilty for running each registrars queue prior to Land Rush against its Sunrise database and sending back names already taken in Sunrise to each individual registrar. These names can then be used for Land Rush 2 at the option of the individual registrar (ethical ones will). Land Rush 2 will be run early next year for all names successfully challenged that are not transferred to a vaild trademark holder. It will give .info great free publicity and will be the biggest event yet in domain name history!
