Hello,we are an italian ISP and we created for our
customers an automated .info domains pre-registration site which was connected to
several authorized Afilias' registrars.
During the sunrise period, some of our
customers registered .info domains using fake trademark information.
After further
investigations, we contacted and convinced them to surrender those domains for which
they had no right under the sunrise rules.
I tried to contact Afilias by email,
with no results, asking them about the procedure of surrendering a .info domain.
Do you know how this works, how long it takes, when and how those domains would be
available again? Our customers made a mistake and they want to fix this matter, if
they follow the procedure and Afilias ignores it, can they do something about avoiding
troubles caused by the a later response from Afilias?
