cynical. Can someone tell me what the costs are to Afilias if they do as they have
said they would - challenge those suspicious registrations that are brought to their
attention, but not challenged by a TM holder?
Is filias up for a big bill
if it has to undertake a large number of challenges?
Would changing the rules as
appears to be the case encourage non-TM holders to have a go at a challenge - and
so diminish the number of challenges that Afilias would otherwise have to undertake.
On
that last point - as I now expect nothing but the worst from Afilias - watch for
Afilias's lack of enthusiasm in initiating challenges.
I have a feeling that a
number of bona fide Sunrise fraudsters will keep their valuable ill-gotten
names.
