However, in an effort at maintaining normalcy, we are not planning on changing
the previous schedule. At this time, we will be accepting .biz domain name applications
through 04:59:59 GMT on September 18, 2001. We will accept IP Claims conflict notification
responses through 04:59:59 GMT on September 26, 2001, and the Registry is planned
on "going live" at 00:05:01 GMT on October 1, 2001.
We appreciate and share your
concerns and sorrow, but believe our obligation is to operate on a normal schedule
to enable .biz to be operational and live on October 1st for the world's businesses.
