ICANN has to realise that at stake is not only  .info extension but also the crediblity of legacy DNS.  Not even the most partisan supportes of ICANN and Afilias can claim that .info rollout inspires confidence.  It may be too much to expect from ICANN and Afilias to make some announcement during laandrush period but only way ICANN can restore the confidence of Internet community is to come out with some practical and equitable solution of sunrise fiasco and rights of pre-registrants.
