on why they should support the DomeBase Proposal.  It is not too late to salvage something. ------------from DomeBase.com------------ "What's in these proposals for ICANN?  To be honest, I am new to this and not an expert on ICANN.   If ICANN wants control over new TLDs in the future, then they should support this proposal.  Otherwise, if ICANN's roll-out of the first two new gTLDs turns out to be 2 out of 2 in terms of mess/litigation/scandal, then there could be a call for increased government control  and ICANN would lose some of their control.  Some people would love this, but would you ICANN?  Hey, be a sport. Support this proposal.  It is in your long-term self-interest."
