Dear Afilias!
I'm just finding out today which 'sunrise' pre-registrations have been
granted. Many, many of the registrations are not trademarks filed with the
uspto.gov site. They are generic names and not able to be trademarked as individual
words! So. I have spent much time and some money on throwing my 'hat
in the ring' on trying to pre-register some names . . only to find out that
they were registerd by you weeks ago . . . and they aren't even trademarks!
Registrants in Great Britain, Korea and many other places, have gone way out of bounds
on this!! Fairly simple for you to have checked on those 'trademarks' before allowing
registrations to happen!
In addition . . .I see that to challenge such illegal
actions, you will charge $295.00 to me for each challenge? This is starting
to feel very unsavory . . .or at the least . . . A MESS! It feels like you
are about to make lots of money on the challenge end of your venture :)
