Yes, I do too experience some difficulty in finding out what will happen now.
However, according to Alice's Registry - http://www.ar.com/ - "All requests
have been transmited to the registry and we await results due by Monday." By Monday?!
I am not sure: if I refer to Afilias' FAQ, I find the following info: "The awarding
of Queue 1 names is expected to be announced about 00:01 UTC, Sep 27, 2001. The results
will be available in the .INFO WHOIS." I do not know if this refers to public announcement,
or if individuals will be informed through their registrars as soon as they get one
of the domain names they had applied for. Wait and see! At least, no further extension
or similar last-minute change of the rules (I hope!).
