While there is just one doing it - new.net!

Problem comes when you get more.

Others would want their business.

Which plugin gets the .sex TLD?

What if different ISP choses different Alt Root?

>You guys act like icann is going to change. Wake up. Without someone forcing their hand it will never happen.

There is no creditable alternative - new.net are even adopting UDRP - for flips sake.

UDRP is a license for big business to carry on bullying everybody - including all smaller business using the same words as them.

There are a few honourable people, who fight for what they believe is right - and not roll over because it is too dificult.

I truly believe those running the show are corrupt - and I will not let them get away with it.

This is based on rational logical analysis - not hysterical thinking.

>Just wait till icann uses this afilias disaster as an example of why we need to move even slower with new tld creation.

You are not first that realized this.

I can tell you this though - new.net are managing the situation very badly indeed.

They do not have my respect - they are not driven by doing what is good for the Internet.

Fred, what do you think they are driven by?

The SPIN answer, used by big business, is - satisfying consumer demand.

The TRUTH is - the greed for more profits.

They should be more concerned with a plan for future development and to solving the current problems.
