I'm not trying to be philosophical or even eager for the "I told you so.." moment, I'm as frustrated as anyone else and probably more. I needlessly lost (and will lose) a great deal of money because somebody else made a mistake, never bothered to correct it and insists on compounding it. Any excuse you heard and will hear from mis-planning to technical mishaps is stuff I deal with in my day to day life. The difference is in real life you know who you deal with and actions are governed by the laws of physics. With Afilias they have managed to create the perfect vacuum. They insist on insulting the will and intelligence of their first-line customers and they do that because ICANN helps them be this way. So I'm not being philosophical rather a cynical observer.
