      Setting your DNS to use the Pacific Root is an effective way of boycotting the ICANN .info, since the Pacific Root recognizes Domain Island as the "true" .info registry. You would also boycott the Nulevel .biz and its alleged illegal lottery, on the other hand you also get to see thousands of inclusive domain space TLDs in addition to the legacy domains, .com, .net, .org, .gov, .edu, .int, and .arpa the country TLDs etc.

Most of the other "alternate" roots recognize ICANN for .info.
