I've found that the .info WHOIS only works correctly if you enter the name in all
lowercase. Actually, I think it's just the ".info" extension, if you type it,
that must be in lowercase; you can omit it altogether, or type it in lowercase, but
not in uppercase or the domain shows up as available. However, after you retrieve
a record of a registered domain, the hyperlink from the domain name goes to a WHOIS
page with the name included as a URL parameter so you can link or bookmark that record,
but it gets embedded there in all uppercase, so the link doesn't actually result
in getting the information you want. Try it; retrieve a WHOIS record on any
domain in their database, then follow the link from the name on that page, and you'll
get a page that says the same domain is still available. Nevertheless, I've checked
on my GoDaddy pre-registrations using the proper case, and they've still vanished.
