What a joke, after much searching last night I found a registrar taking so called live registrations.  I proceeded to register some names then crawled off to bed.  This morning I took a look at the Afilias whois and found that one of the domains I submited last night had been registered by someone else, several hours AFTER I had submited and paid for the registration.  All the others I registered last night are still showing up as available in the whois so it looks like they have not been submitted.  So much for www.namesecure.com  I will let you know what they have to say about this!
