Afilias made a public statement that *ALL* questionable Sunrise registration would
be challenged. e.g. http://www.thinkbig.net/specials/info-illegitimate.htmlThat
includes all questionable registrations by mr. Plankenstein, and if he created his
own financial monster, that's his problem. By the way, I have been monitoring the
WHOIS database and pre-registered only *after* the sunrise period was over. This
means I lost out on quite a few domain names I wanted. I would like to have another
shot at them, but without paying US $75 effectively. I am in favour of a Landrush
II for the questionable (and hence discarded) sunrise registrations. They should
go back in a special public pool. I like the 1 "lottery ticket" per person idea,
but the problem is: how can you enforce just one entry per person?
