Other than homepage notices that the registry isn't working, the Afilias registry
- "where the world once went for information" - is seemingly hunkered/bunkered down
and producing a deafing silence, broken only by occassional media releases, never
dealing with matters of importance to its customers, but filled with marketing hype
for those who don't yet know the truth about the Afilias/ICANN .info fiasco. Some
of us are now getting refunds from some registrars who took down- payments on Landrush
names.
In the light of this fact, I am seeking opinions from the technically expert
amongst forum posters regarding the ease/difficulty of maintenance/retention of Landrush
preregistration data for the Landrush names which the registry saw fit to register
in Sunrise, despite the fact that some Sunrise applicants indicated their applications
were not eligible as they provided none of the required TM data, or indicated that
their applications were ineligible as their TM data was obviously false.
Are refunds
the end of our hopes for a Landrush II and the hope that our preregistration fees
may earn us a chance to win valuable generics, or will our Landrush preregistration
fees simply becomming an Afilias bonus for their registrars?
The Landrushers deserve
better!!!!
