Excellent idea...Afilias should contact all "sunrise" registrants and request proof of their registered trademark for each of their "sunrise" domains along with a "processing" fee of like $100.00 USD *per* domain - so for example, the scammer who has 5000 bogus "sunrise" domains, he'd have to pay $100.00 processing fee x 5000 domains = total $500,000 USD!! Such a setup would weed out 99% of the bogus apps. Afilias and friends would even make a few extra bucks too while giving "landrush" folks another chance - a win, win situation.
