...manage to get them to work by finally ignoring the way it was 'sposed to be done and doing a lot of trial and error at each registrar. They did eventually work, but it was different at each one and never quite as they stated to do it. And no I don't feel like spelling out the endless gory details except to say tech support was generally clueless about .info and generally unhelpful and misleading. Good luck. I'm sure it will get better...
