"If they are not checking trademarks, then what was point of Sunrise?  Trademarks always could challenge after the registration of domain - so nothing has changed." Read my post again. Why check every trademark claim of every Sunrise application submitted?  The vast majority would never be awarded, thus checking at that time would be a waste of time and effort. Check the Sunrise trademarks only at award time [but delay registration until trademark verified].  Thus, only awarded domains' trademarks would be checked, and revoked if invalid.
