Subject: will Afilias condone fraud ?

      In numerous articles that have been published across the internet, Afilias CMO Roland LaPlante mantains that the number of fraudulent registrations is significantly below independant estimates (in one article LaPlante claims that it is roughly 3,000). Does this mean that Afilias only plans to challenge a few names (3000?). Will the fraudsters that claimed very high profile names lose their registrations while the ones that went for low profile but still very valuable names be rewarded. It appears that Afilias will just challenge whatever it needs to remedy its public relations problems.
