I would prefer not to copy the whole article for copyright reasons. As I recall
from memory, it basically said that Afilias was sending notices to the legal counsel
of registrars saying that there should not be auctions for Sunrise registrations
because they are locked and/or could be challenged. For my two cents, I also wish
that Afilias had put in place at the very least data checks for Sunrise registrations
and/or had deleted names before Land Rush, but at this point I am thankful for any
action on their part which decreases the chances that Sunrise cheats will get away
with their misdeeds. Ideally, I'd like to the Sunrise cheats not get away with
what they did by selling domains and also see fairness for the original Land Rushers...
but I think that any progress on either point is good news at this point.
