I just checked the .BIZ whois, and was surprised to find that I actually won a name
I had applied for, even though I haven't heard anything from the registrar about
it, and it hadn't appeared in the WHOIS at the point a few weeks ago when all uncontested
names were supposedly already awarded. The registration date is shown as Oct.
5 (which is a few days later than the supposed Oct. 1 date when those names were
awarded). It doesn't actually resolve, however. The registrar is register.com. See
the WHOIS entry linked below...
