If ICANN is accountable to the US Government, to which office are complaints to be sent? |

Do I detect a problem here? For a start, all governments are horrifically corrupt
and unwilling to admit fault with their own lot. But no-one even seems to know which
govt department is supposedly overseeing ICANN. I have read countless messages
in this forum slagging off ICANN and Afilias about the .info 'abomination', and yet
little talk to getting to the root. Both ICANN and Afilias are perpetually silent-
They have to be because by replying to anyone's message in this forum, they would
implicitly be admitting that they read messages here and chose to remain silent when
accused. They also know that if they answer just one of our questions, they would
be presented with thousands more. So we need to find a solution deeper than this.
We need to get to the root. Does anybody actually know which US gov department
ICANN is accountable to and what the complaints procedure is?
