Then I wrote: 'What collisions?  There will be no collisions, unless ICANN awards dot-web to an IOD competitor.'

Oops, I forgot about web.com collisions.  That's because I was thinking about web.net instead.

I admit that web.net is a much better deal than web.com - precisely because of such collisions [and expense of buying them out].

Web.com has many subdomains that would collide with .web domains.  But web.net does not.
