Dot biz is the "crappy" TLD...And if you are from the U.K you'll know what I am talking
about. Image Online Design's Dot web has been the top rated TLD in every single
poll taken in the last 3 years. Why do you think Afilias tried to apply for
dot web??? So they could get dot info??? I think you are wrong about dot
web for obvious reasons, but I will leave you to your opinions....Unfortunately some
do not know the history of the DNS prior to 1998. ICANN's mission was to fulfull
the requirement of the White Paper....That meant introducing competition...Thus far
no real competition in the name-space has been introduced...The 7 registrars selected
to operate new TLDs do not represent "new" blood.....Things however will come full
circle in 2002. Trust me. Image Online Design's dot web will be selected in the
next round. I will just leave it at that. Gregory
