I find this sickening. These organisations intentionally being slack and inconveniencing people because they more more money this way. Afilias' announcement on intended late sunrise challenges cultivates uncertainty and tempts people to challenge themeselves just incase they don't. WIPO's delay works exactly the same way.
They are all DISHONEST. It's the same scam as 'preregistering' - paying for something with no guarantee of getting it.
