Your analogy doesn't track, Jim.

The correct analogy is more like my selling railroad cars, but they use a track gauge that is 1 inch wider.

I can't sell them to people who want to use them with their existing rails.

Sure, we can serve up native quad-A, and we probably will. But that doesn't change the fact that we're still not in the roots, and it still has no bearing whatsoever on your "IPv8" idea.

So let's take it as read that I'll add a native IPv6 resolver next week.

Nothing changes.
