.web just doesn't do anything that .net doesn't, and it sounds worse too. Plus of the gtld domains, .net is nearly defunct- Internet services companies virtually all trade under .com. I agree that .biz gives the impression of .hardsell . The only appropriate kind of business I can immediately think of where it would be appropriate is domains- pure no-messing about purchasing.
