It's not your concern that .Web bangs heads with .Com

Just like it's not your concern that the New York Post bangs heads with the New York Times. Or KABC competes with KCBS and KNXT (all network affiliates in Los Angeles).

Would you have denied the FOX networks' license to broadcast just because there were already 3 "generic" television networks?

Would you say that since D&B already runs a company registry, nobody else can do that?

McDonalds already makes hamburgers. Let's just shutter Burger King and Wendy's ... we don't need them!

The list goes on.

The bottom line: it doesn't matter if you or anyone else thinks that it's a bad idea. The market will decide.
