"There are many other "alt root registries". Why .WEB? Even name.space has more developped
sites! .WEB is a thing that didn't fly for 6 years now!" name.space exists in the
murky world of the alt roots. Of course they will be developed as the registrants
are not waiting on nor expecting anything better. .web registrants are waiting
for the tld to be adopted by the ICANN root, that is to say the real world.
Prior to this acceptance there is very little point in developing sites as they can
only be viewed via the people resolving the alt roots (which decided to include .web).
Alt root users are of no consequence to the commercial world - thats why the number
of alt root users remains so low. But if you are a new.net supporter, then you
are already used to tying to convince other people of the merits of novelty namespaces.
