with Snufflebleet (or whatever that spokesman's name is).
Greg's an unfortunate example of how simple people can be led by the "loud media"
(to coin a phrase). On your local scene, wonder why the public
rating of Lil Johnnie jumped within minutes of Lil Johnnie's Washington meeting with
Ruprekt Murdoch? (He'd signed Packer up with his cross-media law softening a week
or so before).... Result: all media outlets toe Johnnie's line ("where's Beasley?"
"Howards tough stance" "Howard the winner" "Howard - our man in a brave new world"
"Where's Beasley?"...) On the UK front, wonder how to make
sure that come the next election you've got a "powerful, world stage commanding leader"?
Just pump out endless cheap rhetoric and follow Thatcher's example of send in the
troops and the people will believe we're still a power! By the way Tony - its Bin
Laden, not Ben Laden. Origami, Jimminy!
