IOD and .WEB |

The message remains the same, regardless of who supports it. That message is,
regardless of what you think about .WEB as a TLD, that Image Online Design is by
far the more competent among the applicants in the second round (and of the first
round, as recent developments have shown). We can debate for eons about whether
.WEB would be a good choice for inclusion in the root. I think it would be
wonderful, and I believe I have a good deal of support in that belief. Some
here have expressed otherwise, and that is fine. What is not debatable is whether
IOD is up to the task of running it. To that end I must agree with Jim Fleming.
IOD is run by professionals, not amateurs. So, I would like to see more discussion
on this forum not about whether .WEB is a good TLD or a bad TLD, but about the expertise
and professionalism of IOD, and how approval of its application would benefit all
of us in the long run. Shelby Hudgens
