Yesnic, magically, managed to find Trademarks for 261 of the key generic domains
which were registered for them by Afilias at Sunrise.Yesnic are recommended and
endorsed by Afilias.
I call on Yesnic to immediately confirm that they submitted
genuine Trademark details for each of these names.
If they fail to do so, they
should be banned (not just from .info but from any kind of ICANN accreditation).
If
they claim their innocence, and WIPO shows they provided fake info, then they should
be banned.
261 key generic names - held for one of Afilias's own buddies - and
kept from the Internet community.
I thought that the job of Afilias as a Registry
was that they were supposed to make domain names available for the public, not register
them for their friends?
Will Yesnic please respond? And if Afilias takes no action
(and to date, Yesnic are still trading and endorsed) will they accept charges of
complicity in what might turn out to be fraud?
Why should honest customers risk
being duped, by a Registrar that Afilias STILL endorses, if it is shown that Yesnic
lied and cheated, and shown that Afilias presided over it all?
