Blair is a bit of an exception (apart from his pact with the Devil {the pact all
would-be winners sign with Rupert Murdoch}). Gorbachev was also somewhat of an exception
(though not being "popularly elected" can help) - when the "people" got their say,
they promptly "chose" a drunk 1-Watt buffoon. And by the way, the loser in the Aussie
poll would have been an exception as well, clearly having a brain and reasonable
ability to think for himself (this scares the average Aussie, it seems), and not
having even done a deal with the Devil.The Moderator. "All things in moderation"
