        Those of us fortunate enough to get some good .INFO names certainly want to shut the door on new TLDs, at least for a few years ... just to make sure the DNS system remains stable.  It has nothing to do with greed and speculation, it only has to do with making sure the DNS remains secure and stable.  Hahahahahaha.

Don't worry Chris Ambler, eventually you will most likely get your .WEB into the USG root.  But you should find a friend within ICANN, and let that friend wet his beak, just like Afilias did. 

Graft, kickbacks, favors, conflicts of interest, corruption within the registries, it's all there.  Why not take advantage of it?

IOD got too greedy, not willing to spread the wealth with insiders.  I've got a feeling Chris Ambler would be rolling in big bucks, this very day, if IOD's name had been changed, before Nov 2000, to IODyson.
