--> I would say 13 of them know this. Only joking. But
you're not many of these 75 million users knows about new.net. Threfore you need
a killer application. firstlook.com/.movie could be it, but I'm not sure.
Btw.
.info and .biz has the same problems right now. Have a look at the counter on business.com
(it is the conter for sveral first class domains; also watch drugs.info). You would
see that these first class domains gets only a feww hits."New.net needs marketing
if it wants to bring those users to benefit."
--> Sure marketing is always
good, but it is also expensive! New.net has proven that they don't throw away money
like other start-ups (included Idealab! start-ups) did it e.g. by branding a stupid
business names in newspapers.
And I think if would have thrown away your money
like these start-ups you wouldn't here for seven years.
