(see earlier post, below) It appears Afilias is not enforcing the Sunrise challenge
provision which requires a successful challenger to register under Sunrise rules
(with a trademark). At least one is not entering any trademark details for his challenge
spoils. It isn't so bad that a challenger gets the domain that was registered fradulently
in the first place, but they are violating the rules, just like the original registrant
did. What's worse, after the challenge and fraudulent re-registration, there
are no longer any trademark details visible in the whois, so I'm not sure the name
can be challenged a second time, or if it will be included in the Afilias challenge
of obvious frauds. This "domain laundering" is just the latest chapter in the .info
debacle.
