My credit cards were revoked on Nov. 1, 2001.
My credit was only reinstated after
I telephoned the credit card
company.I was told my account was revoked because
I deposited a large amount
of money in the account. About twice my credit
limit.
I had hoped that depositing the money would allow me to expand my
credit
limit.
I was first told, just before LandRush, that depositing the money
would
have no effect on my credit limit. No expansion of my credit
limit would
take place.
Then I got a letter in the mail, after LandRush and about the time
of
the .biz registrations, saying that my credit cards had been
cancelled.
Because the deposited money had caused an expansion of
my credit that the credit
card company felt uncomfortable with.
Has anyone else experienced credit problems
during a time when
registrars might have been charging your card.
