One thing I can't get out of my mind is the way the landrush happened. I preregistered
my names with multiple registrars to get 'more names in the hat'-so to speak. And
I only used registrars who accepted 1 application per domain, because I thought they
might apply for it themselves with several applications otherwise, and possbly not
even enter mine. But some of the registrars I used got a statistically vastly lower
amount of names than others. In particular Go Daddy's performance was extremely poor.
I also remember that Go Daddy's names did not show up until a day or two after the
other registrar's names were in the whois. I wonder if their entries were added
after other registries - at the beginning of the open registration. I cannot understand
why their names were not showing when other registrars' were, and why their statistical
performance was so poor.
