I don't think the lists would have varied in length that much, bearing in mind these registrars were only accepting one application each and a lot of people were preregistering the same app to several registrars. By the time the deadline for applications was reached, virtually everything worthwhile had been reserved in all lists. Plus it doesn't explain Go Daddy's names not being in the list when the other registrars were
